The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were a little old fashioned and smaller than expected, leading to discomfort during the night due to the heat. However, the service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff, though there was a slight issue with a smell in the main entrance. The location was beautiful with sea views and nearby dining options. The dining experience varied from very poor to excellent. Overall, a stay with some highlights and drawbacks.
The hotel offers well-appointed refurbished rooms with fantastic sea views, but leaving the window fully open throughout the stay may have drawbacks. The service from the friendly and helpful staff was top-notch. The location, close to Charlestown and overlooking spectacular views, was a highlight. However, the dining experience fell short in terms of quality and variety.
The hotel had some positives like lovely and attentive staff, but the room was too hot making it hard to sleep. The location was superb, overlooking the sea and close to charming restaurants. The dining experience had its ups and downs, with excellent and cold, overcooked food at different times. The attention to detail in managing events was exceptional throughout my stay.
